Preaching and teaching the WORD of God with the demonstration of POWER! by Kelvian Gabriel

Beloved friends, when the word of God is preached, taught or presented in a way that it directly or indirectly relate to the present circumstance in your life; touching your innermost soul; penetrating your heart deeply with it wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God; instantly changing and transforming your mind as you hear, read, or observe the WORD OF GOD in action; the POWER of God will be released upon your life to deliver you from every circumstance you may find yourself in, if only you believe, according to the working of his great power.
Ephesians 1:20-23  states that, "God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church,
which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all."

For this reason, Pastors and Teachers of the scriptures must live by the Spirit, and be guided by the Spirit.

Paul said in Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

"But, as it is written, What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.

These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly Gods except the Spirit of God.

Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.

And we speak of these things in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual things to those who are spiritual.

Those who are nonspiritual do not receive the gifts of Gods Spirit, for these are foolishness to them, and they are unable to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Those who are spiritual, discern all things, and they are themselves subject to no one's scrutiny.

For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?

But we have the mind of Christ.

Do not be deceived, not everyone that calls themselves Christians are truly practicing Christianity.

And do not be equally deceived, Satan knows the scriptures very well too. He does not operate in ignorance like some of us do, see 2 Corinthians 2:11

Satan has enough knowledge to make demands on people's lives, see Luke 22:31.

Satan uses people, see John 13:27;

Satan fills the hearts of people, see Acts 5:3.

Hmmm! Satan has power, see Acts 26:18.

Satan is available to destroy the flesh, see 1 Corinthians 5:5

Satan can tempt us because of lack of control, see 1 Corinthians 7:3-5.

Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, see 2 Corinthians 11:14-15

"And no wonder! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his ministers also disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness. Their end will match their deeds."

Satan has a messenger to torment people in order to keep them from being elated (joyous), see 2 Corinthians 12:6-9, etc! etc!! etc!!!

Our Lord Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23, Concerning Self-Deception, "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name? Then I will declare to them, I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers."

Beloved, my bible tells me in John 4:24 that, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He that have Him have life. He that does not have Him, does not have life. (Jn 14:6)

The words that He has spoken to us are spirit and life. (Jn 6:63)

We must have a firm grasp of the word that is trustworthy in accordance with the teaching, so that we may be able both to preach with sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict it (Titus 1:9).

We are told in 2 Timothy 3:16 that, "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."

The Holy Bible, though is seen as the top seller in the history of humankind is not to be seen or read as any other ordinary book. The scripture is inspired by God and my bible tells me in Hebrews 4:12-13:-

"Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before him no creature is hidden, but all are naked and laid bare to the eyes of the one to whom we must render an account."

Therefore beloved, teachers, pastors, evangelist, ministers etc. must study the word exegetically and also fully depend on God's gift of the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so that as the good news is preached and taught, healing will also take place in Jesus Name.

In order to preach and teach with the demonstration of power, we must be clothed with power from on high.” As confirmed in Luke 24:49, "And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised; so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

Jesus commissioned His Disciples not only to preach and teach but to do this with demonstration of power as confirmed in Mark 16:15-18, "And he said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation.

The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Wao! That is the way it should be. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, "My speech and my proclamation were not with plausible words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God."

Also in 2 Corinthians 4:7, he said, "But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us."

Therefore, Christ in us the hope of glory! Preachers and teachers must live by the Spirit, and also be guided by the Spirit.

Our Lord Jesus in John 14:15-17,
"Also in John 16:7-15, He said, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:

about sin, because they do not believe in me;

about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer;

about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.

I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

Our Lord Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 10:19-20 saying: "When they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you at that time; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Preaching or teaching without the Help of the Holy Spirit is lethal and comes with no demonstration of power. It is just like another story line, no impact, no life in it.

Where God is! Where the Son is!! Where the Holy Spirit is!!! There is always a demonstration of power.

Let us not preach and teach empty words without the power of God to cleanse, change, transform, heal, deliver and give life (Christ) to those who are in need.

Let us live and be guided by the spirit so that we can preach and teach giving life (Christ) to those who are lifeless; hope to the hopeless; deliverance to those in bondage; heal the broken hearted and the sick; raise the dead; open blind eyes and deaf ears; and set the captives free.

Beloved, the night is far gone, the day is near.

Let us then lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; let us live honorably as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy.

Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires (Romans 13:12-14).

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

Christ in you, the hope of glory!
